This post is in partnership with Bosch home appliances, but all thoughts are my own.
Our house had a big birthday this year and turned 15! I can’t believe we’ve actually been in our house for 15 years?! Our home has experienced so much joy, love, amazing and challenging experiences over the years, and has always been a sanctuary of comfort for us, no matter what was thrown our way. We decided it was time to give back to our home and gave it a major facelift! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. One by one our appliances started to break down and replacing them became a necessity more than a luxury.😳 That was the start of our kitchen renovation journey…
Appliances were one of the things on the top of our list, so we dove right in and started researching all different brands. When I came across the Bosch home appliances website I was incredibly impressed. I started by looking at the ratings which were excellent, then comparing prices which were competitive and very fair and that’s when I stumbled across Heart of the Home, where Bosch provides helpful information for kitchen remodels, easy recipes and even tips and tricks like how to load a dishwater! Side note- my husband has been making fun of me for years for the way I load the dishwasher. 🤷🏼♀️ I just put the dishes wherever they will fit and there’s never any organization. 😂 So you better believe I watched the Bosch video on how to load a dishwasher properly! 💡 Hmmm, maybe an idea for another blog post??! 🤔
Anyway, we sat down and picked out the appliances we wanted for our kitchen and were able to check off the first box of our long To-Do list! I’m really excited to share with you our new Bosch kitchen suite. It has truly completed our vision for the kitchen renovation and I couldn’t be happier with how beautiful and sleek the appliances are!!!
Lennox and I decided to take the oven for a test drive and bake some chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies for his birthday! 🍪 🍪😋 A feature the Bosch Benchmark Series Gas Slide-In Range has that I didn’t have on my last oven is the convection setting. I don’t know how I lived without it! I have found that it cooks/bakes much more evenly than our previous oven and faster too!! Which is a good thing when baking cookies with a toddler. He wanted to eat cookies before we broke a single egg! 😳 So, tantrum diverted. Thank you, Bosch!🤗 Lennox (and I) sat by the oven and waited patiently as we watched our cookies bake, and he only asked about ten times if they were ready yet! 🤪 Thankfully, cleanup was also a breeze with our new Bosch 100 Series dishwasher, which means we got to spend the most of our time enjoying these delicious goodies together after our baking session. They were pretty yummy if I do say myself and I couldn’t think of a better way to christen our new Bosch kitchen!
Another feature that I think is the MOST VALUABLE on the oven is the panel lock. I was showing Lennox the buttons and allowing him to press the temperature while explaining how hot an oven and stove get. I also told him to never push buttons without our permission, so what does he do the minute I turn my back? Yes, he tries to press the buttons! 🙄 So, as the mom of a three year old boy who gets into EVERYTHING, having a safety panel lock is paramount. The fact that Lennox can get close to the oven and I know it’s locked creates such a sense of relief for me. You can never be too cautious and I’m grateful Bosch thought of this important feature.
What should Lennox and I bake next? Perhaps more cupcakes?! I can’t believe my baby is three!! March 1st! – the greatest day!! Three?!! Omg. 😭🙌🏻👶🏼
If you have any fun cupcake ideas and recipes, I’d love to see them in the comments section! My new Bosch oven is ready to bake more delicious goodies for Lennox’s bday!! All month celebration, right?!
Xoxo
