If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve heard me talking a lot about decluttering my home AND decluttering my mind. The past couple months have been extremely cathartic as I’ve been guided by a super powerful woman who not only focuses on decluttering your home, but the true meaning behind it. I am happy to introduce you to my friend, Lili Pettit. Her business is called Clutter Healing and the work she does is transformational.
Once I realized that my world was completely cluttered, I started browsing Instagram for organizing tips and techniques. What I found was there are so many amazing personal organizers out there, but what separates Lili from some of these other individuals, is her intention behind decluttering both your home and your mind- and I love her intention. ♥️
“At Clutter Healing©, Inc., our intention as professional organizers is to provide a fun, safe and non-judgmental space to clear physical and emotional clutter. With more than a decade of organizing experience, we are able to set-up your home in a beautiful and efficient way with systems that are easy to follow. It is our greatest honor to support clients who value increased clarity, energy, and purpose.”
…And that is exactly what she did. I have to say while we were going through the pantry, drawers, cabinets and Lennox’s place space, we definitely had a bunch of laughs. Mainly about ALL the junk I’ve acquired but also about motherhood, raising our littles and trying to stay sane!🤪 Seriously tho, I learned so many useful tips on how to keep our home in order where it actually “flows.” Simple things that I missed like putting our dishes in one of the deep drawers instead of a cabinet, which made so much sense in the layout of our kitchen! I totally didn’t see it until Lili moved them there.🙈 I was walking from the stove around the table to our new cabinet to get the dishes and it just didn’t make sense.🤣 Our kitchen and play space flow now. It makes sense. Another technique that I didn’t even know existed is a pot and pan lid holder! Say whaaaaat?! Lili ordered it from idesign (which is AMAZING!) and my husband installed it on the inside of one of the cabinets. The cabinet that actually had our dishes in it! LOL. As you can see in the photos below our lids are now organized!
I remember before the home renovation we had the pots, pans and lids stored in the island and it was always such a mess. Nothing fit, the lids were everywhere and I was constantly frustrated with it. This might be a little out there- but I think my frustration actually bled into my cooking because I started off annoyed that I couldn’t find anything, the kitchen was in such disarray, and I just wanted to get the meal cooked as quickly as possible!! 😳 Now I feel different while I’m cooking because I know where all of my kitchen necessities are. I am able to grab them quickly which makes it much easier to prep the meal and start cooking. Not saying that my meals turn out any better LOL. Workin on it, hubby! Next on the list, cooking class. I think you see where I’m going with this…
I can tell the rest of the rooms in the house are jealous of the kitchen and playroom.🤫 I feel like I’ve learned some pretty awesome and easy techniques from Lili and will try my damnedest to attempt some Clutter Healing upstairs and make her proud.🙌🏻🙏🏻 Do I dare attempt the bathroom?! If you are local to Los Angeles and looking for some clutter healing yourself, I would highly recommend using Lili! And FYI, she’s also open to traveling!😉
Heres some of my favorite products Lili introduced me to!
Happy organizing, lovelies. xoxo
