Lennox and I opened some presents early! When you have a cozy pj’s for you and your baby just waiting under the tree, a yucky cold and it’s freezing outside, I think it’s the smartest choice to open the presents and enjoy early! 🤧👍🏻 Now I think we’ll stay in our pj’s, cuddled in warm blankies all day! It’s going to be a pajama party day today for us. We are both sick. I have a yucky cold and Lennox has bronchitis (which I’m really upset about) so staying inside, bundled in our fuzzies sounds like a pretty good idea to me. Why am I so upset that he has bronchitis? Well, for starters its the first time he’s ever been sick and ALSO I took him to the doctor last week and the pediatrician said he has a mild cold, a little fluid in his ears but there’s nothing to do about it… He started to cough so I took him back to the doctor yesterday and he now has bronchitis?!! I don’t know… I realize you have to let a cold run its course, but with a baby it seems more serious to me. Anyway, I know this is good for him as it’s helping build his immune system, but as a mommy, its not easy for me. Plain and simple… Do you, or did you ever feel this way?! Am I being too sensitive? I’m sure his next cold I’ll be much better. At least his antibiotic is starting to work and my sweet, happy boy is coming back!
Stay warm and healthy!
xoxo

I am so sorry to hear that he is sick. I have a little boy who was born the same day as your little guy so we love following along and seeing what all he is up to!! I feel the same way when mine is sick but it definitely gets easier each time even though it always hurts to see them hurting 🙁 He is a cutie! Keep up the great work mama!

My son has already had croup and a cold this winter. I was a nervous reck when he got the croup. I think it’s natural for a mom to be worried and feel broken when her baby is sick. I just try to remember that every kid gets sick and there isn’t much we can do about it.
