Creating the perfect play space for Lennox has been 2 1/2 years in the making! I remember when he was super little we had all these bright and flashy colored floor mats, a big plastic play house with balls,π race car tracks that launched hot wheels off of Lennox’s kitchen and then zipped around the HUGE track that was permanently placed in the middle of the floor!!! Good lord! We had too many bins and baskets full of toys, games, crayons etc. and Lennox never knew where anything belonged- neither did I, honestly, π which made it a “tiny” bitΒ challenging to keep tidy.π After way too many months of this chaos, I started looking for ways to make his play space fun, but organized, with a fresh and clean feeling. I knew I wanted to add some furniture to help me organize and clean up the space, but I wasn’t sure exactly what I was looking for…? And then I met Melissa, the designer of Nico and Yeye, the cutest children’s furnitures brand! If you don’t know them yet, you need to! Check them out here. Omg, their catalog is full of unique pieces and top quality furniture. Nico and Yeye has all these bright colors to choose from and for Lennox’s bedroom I’d love to bring in some bold tones, but because his play space borders the living room I wanted to keep neutral tones therefore choosing white and wood tones. His table is perfect for crafts or snack time. The chairs are incredibly sturdy and my husband can sit in them, too! I love this clean and modern look. So grateful to have found Nico and Yeye. Exactly what this mama was looking for!
Happy organizing!
