My favorite things that help me sleep 12 hours a night!

July 11, 2016

It’s true… I love pacifiers! They really help me fall asleep. My favorite are the MAM pacifiers! AND- I got mine with my name on them! ? Soooo exciting! I also love Mr. Bunny. He’s the coolest! Mr. Bunny is fun to snuggle, but only when I’m awake. Mommy says no toys, no nothin, not even my wubbanub in my crib! Just my flat sheet because, well, safety first ? I just moved into my own room a week ago. No more sleeping in my Halo Bassinet. I’m a big boy now!! I’m 4 months old!

I also LOVE my Trumpette socks! They keep my toes nice and warm. I do get a lot of fuzz in between my toes because of my socks tho. But that doesn’t stop mommy from kissing them!! She kisses me alllllll the time!! I also sleep on my back because mommy says back is best! My Baby Merlins Magic Sleep Suit IS MAGICAL!!! I promise!! I sleep like 12 hours at night because of the Magic suit. My mommy and daddy love that. And so do I??!! My Honest company diapers are so cool! The ones I’m wearing right now have anchors on them. But apparently they have all different kinds of designs! I can’t wait to see what I get to wear next?!?

I really like naps. Sometimes I’ll take a snooze in my newborn lounger. But only when my mommy is sitting right beside me. Lots of times right after breakfast! I never sleep in it by myself, because again, safety first! I’m getting a little big for it now, which is kind of a bummer. Sophie thinks it’s her bed. I guess it will be from now on! That’s OK though, because I like to share. I’m a good boy like that!

Hi Amy! My little one is almost 3 months and I’m looking forward to sleeping more (fingers crossed) and wondering if you purchased the Magic Merlin’s Sleep Suit in the cotton or microfleece? Thanks! Love your blog it has helped me a lot!

Hi there. If it’s hot where you are if say cotton! And I just learned the babies should sleep in no warmer than 79 degrees. Crazy! Good luck

Lennox is so adorable, Amy, many congratulations. My own children are 9 & 8 years old now, but seeing photo’s of your handsome fella brings back memories! When my son first went into his own room, it was strange at first because I’d got so used to hearing his little sounds and movements during the night. By then, my daughter was on her way and we were old pro’s by then! Biggest adjustment when she moved into a room with her brother was being woken up at between 4.30 and 5.30am by our son screeching, trying to wake his little sister up! Enjoy every precious minute, our children grow up so quickly xxxx

We have a Merlin suit too and I’m curious what you put Lennox in underneath. I always have a hard time with this temperature thing and babies ?

He only wears a diaper! Be careful your babe doesn’t get too hot! I just learned that the nursery should be no warmer than 70°F. Even though their little hands and feet are cold, it’s what’s best for them apparently. Good luck!
