Now that our home renovation is almost compete, (still a couple weeks away😬🥂) I’ve been adding some of the finishing touches! I’m just a “tiny” bit impatient, 🤪 so I started scouring the internet looking for pieces to make our house a home like four months ago. I wanted to fill our home with cozy, warm, colorful pieces that feel good (literally) and look pretty!😍 I discovered a website called Grandin Road and found SO MANY pieces that fit the exact look and feel I was going for! They. Have. Everything! You name it. Which makes me feel like a kid in a candy store! 💘 All the pieces in the descriptions and photos below are from Grandin Road. 🙌🏻💗🙌🏻
I’m so into velvet and blue right now so when I found this fabulous blue Bardot ottoman I instantly put it in my cart! I then went to the artwork page of the website and was thrilled to find such an extensive collection. I picked out art that would add some bold color to our white walls – we had color on the walls for years and just painted everything white. In the photos you’ll see I’m keeping up with my succulent and cacti theme! 😝 I mean, when you find succulent art, you buy it. Done! And a colorful cactus on canvas? Don’t even get me started! Always an Arizona girl!🌵 When I designed my succulent wall, I wanted a piece of art that would complement my FAVORITE wall, duh, while bringing a different pop of color to our entryway. Voila! Leilani, a beautiful blue flower painting on canvas. I love gold frame. Once I reveal the kitchen, you’ll see how I tie gold into the rest of the house! 👏🏻😉👏🏻 Then I made my way to the rugs. Man, this may have been one of the most difficult choices to make. My interior designer, Cynthia Soda helped guide me toward bold colors and I’m so happy she did. We chose this gorgeous Artesia area rug for the living room mainly because of the color palette which has all my faves. 😍
Shopping for the house has been so much fun and a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’m so grateful for the guidance of Cynthia🙏🏻 and fabulous stores like Grandin Road. We still have so much more to do, but I am over the moon with the additions we’ve made so far.
So excited to share the rest of our home renovation with you all! Stay tuned! Xoxo
Amy
