A couple weeks ago the hubby and I got to go out with our friends to a lovely event for the 4moms Self-installing Car seat Launch. Not only was it fun to have a glass of wine with friends, but it was truly amazing to see what this new car seat is all about. The safety precautions they have put into it are completely mind blowing. It’s a little nerve-racking bringing home a new baby in a car seat, so knowing that this particular one is doing safety checks every 10 seconds is so reassuring and comforting to me. I can’t wait for it to come out in October!
As we mingled around the event and saw people that we hadn’t seen in a while, it felt really good to hold my husband’s hand and have adult conversations for the first time in a while. I love spending every day with Lennox, I wouldn’t change it for anything, but talking about grown-up things, I guess mommy and daddy conversations ha ha, considering they were a lot about the new safe car seat! Ha ha. But my point is, it was refreshing and nice to be out and feel like the old Amy again. The old Amy and Kacy. I can’t wait for the next double date with Joel and Ashley where we get to bring the little boys. A double date +2 ?
