I’m laying in bed looking at photos from the day you were born and I am flooded with emotions. Gratitude, happiness, a bit melancholy and a bit confused. Maybe bewildered is a better word than confused. Bewildered that I have the capacity to feel so many feelings all at once. I’ve always been an emotional person, ever since I was a little girl, but becoming a mother has opened my heart even more and multiplied it by a million. I had no idea of my capacity to love until you came along. It’s hard to remember life before you and I wonder how I ever felt complete. Saying thank you barely scratches the surface for how grateful I am to be your mommy. Lennox, you made me a mommy. A Mommy!
There were so many days where I didn’t know if this was going to be possible for me… For us. Oh goodness, those were dark days. Thank you, God for those dark days and thank you for the bright, shiny days. Thank you for choosing me to be Lennox’s mommy. What in the world did I do to deserve this blessing…🙏🏻 And thank you, babe for standing by me and holding my hand thru the good and the bad, the challenging and the magnificent moments. We are parents?!!! What!!!!? 😍 I love you and Lennox so deeply.

These pictures make my eyes all watery! So beautiful. I love how good of a mama you are – you are an amazing one and that little boy LOVES and ADORES you – as he should. You two have a special bond and that will be forever that way. A boy and his mama – nothing like that bond. Auzzy is almost 7 and I can tell you that the love grows deeper and more special with every year. I love watching Len grow up and watching you and Kacy being the parents you are.
