First off, how stinkin cute is this top?!!! I had to talk about it because I’m obsessed! It’s so festive and perfect for summer!! I’m totally going to wear this cutie on hot summer days and fun summer nights! Take me to the club! Ya right! LOL! I may or may not wear these released hem skinnies 5 x’s a week. You decide!! My new faves. Sooooo comfy!
So, Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Doesn’t that mean we should be out drinking margaritas and doing shots of tequila somewhere? Maybe even dancing on tables? Oh wait, that was like 10 years ago! Although, I’m not sure I ever really danced on tables… Ok, I “may” have once or twice! Ha! I would be happy if a couple of my friends wanted to meet for happy hour and bring our babes and maybe have one glass of wine. That’s what we call a night out these days. 🤣 Maybe I can wrangle up peeps who would want to do that!
The one thing I’m blown away by, is the fact that it is indeed May 5th! It’s Cinco de Mayo! How the hell did that happen?! How is my son 14 months old?! How is it already 85° in Los Angeles?! Wasn’t my son just in my belly, kicking me and waking me up in the middle of the night?
…Well, it is indeed May 5th, and I’m going to soak it all in. Lennox is more and more fun every day and the summer is approaching us, so for me, it’s all about acceptance. When I start to resist things in life, they seem to just hang around longer. I love this saying I heard years ago, “the more you resist the more it persists.” Makes sense, right? Think about it…
Wow, do I go off on tangents, LOL! Anyway friends, Happy Cinco de Mayo! Enjoy your margaritas, chips and salsa, maybe even barbecues?! If my friends won’t meet up with me, you can be sure I will have a glass of wine on the couch after the baby goes to bed. 😋🍷
