Well, things have been moving forward, not as quickly as we had hoped, but they’re moving…! KINDA. We did find a contractor that we really like so that’s a bonus, but even he is not moving at the lightning speed that I was hoping for! LOL! The flooring has been installed but we’ve hit a few snags. There’s a whole section in the kitchen that now needs to be ripped up and re-done and all I want to do is sit in a corner and cry. I know I have to put my big girl panties on and go with the flow, but I just don’t want to. 😡 So this means we get to spend our weekend with more workers in the house ripping up “NEW” flooring, creating more dust, all that horrible banging and pounding and then that delicious scent of the glue being reapplied for the NEW, “NEW” flooring to be installed. I know I’m complaining and I know it sounds petty, but I just want to be done with this already! I want my House back!!!!!
OK, I’m done venting… I’m breathing… Now, all that being said, we did have some fun with the demolition, I mean, maybe I will start a side job?!🤔🔨 But seriously, I’m happy that the strenuous or shall I say physically taxing part of the renovation (demo💪🏻) is over and the cabinets and flooring are installed! KINDA🙄 Yay! I never thought we’d see this day. 🙌🏻🤪🔥 We are soooo close… SO CLOSE!! As they say in dating, you gotta kiss a ton of frogs! 🤷🏼♀️
