Kacy and I are having a baby boy and we could not be happier!! In the People.com article you get all the details on our thoughts about having a girl or a boy and how we found out. Let’s just say Kacy and I were “slightly” surprised when we found out that this baby isn’t a girl!!!
Our gender reveal party was one of the most exciting and nerve wracking days of my life! My lovely friend, Lacey Chabert, threw us the most amazing party full of memories that we will cherish forever!!! And our dear friend Kimberly Brown captured the whole evening on film for us. Thank you, Kim.
How can I fully explain the emotions that Kacy and I were feeling? The closest I may be able to get is by saying there’s this moment before, right before you are about to find out life changing news where you feel incredibly full. Full of life. Full of emotion. Full of excitement. Do you know what I mean? I think I wanted that feeling to last just a little bit longer because I kept procrastinating… I kept telling Kacy to wait. “Wait just one more minute please!” When we both finally put our hands on the cake knife and cut into our future, ALL my emotions escalated. I cried. I laughed. I think I screamed and fell to the ground. A sense of calm came over me and I was then able to start digesting that we were indeed bringing a little boy into the world. Not a little girl. Not yet…
I could barely contain myself… Kacy was being so patient! So were all of our friends and family 🙂

I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing and supportive husband. Thank you, Kacy for teaching me the meaning of unconditional love and support… I cannot wait to raise our beautiful boy together.
Lacey went all out with this adorable anchor theme. Kacy is a boat captain and anchors have a dear meaning for me. The amazing food and desserts were to die for!! Look at this table! It was out of this world! Lace knows how to cook AND bake!

Thanks for sharing you feelings about finding out your having a baby boy! Your party looked so fun!! It’s funny how you have an idea of what your baby is going to be then….surprise!!! My first was a boy, like I mentioned to you on Instagram, then I went on to have 2 girls. Loved having my boy first, he was so loving, active & fun. My girls are each so different & incredible. Becoming a mom mom is such a gift & privledge. Enjoy all these special moments & firsts!! (Told ya I would check out your website!!) ? XX
