Oh my goodness… It’s 2017 and you are 10 months old! How in the world did that happen?! I can’t tell you how sick I am of people telling me how time flies by. It’s so true, and it truly scares the poop out of me.🙈Ughh! I’m not sure why, but it is actually upsetting to me… Partly because I miss you being an itty-bitty little thing! Our snuggle times are just my favorite and you only give me those at certain times of the day- but I’ll take it! Mama/Lennox snuggle sesh🙌🏻 My sister in law reminded me not to fear my baby growing up thru a post from Glennon Doye Melton,
“You guys- don’t fear your babies growing. Watching them grow is the greatest joy and honor. It’s achey, too. That ache is what Gibron calls, “The pain of too much tenderness.” Let them grow- but insist they stop long enough to dance with you…”
Well said… So- on the flipside Lennox, you are more and more fun every single day. Your laugh is contagious and your smile lights up an entire room. We are so blessed and honored to be your parents. The past 10 months have been some of the most extraordinary moments I’ve ever, ever had. I know I’ve said this before and I will say it again, but you have touched my soul in a way that no one else ever has baby boy. You have made me a mom, Lennox. You have made me feel like one of the luckiest women in the world. It was always a dream of mine to be a mother, and you my little love, made that possible. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart.🙏🏻
I’m so excited for the upcoming year. I know we will grow and explore so many exciting new things together, so many new opportunities! I can’t wait to see everything that you teach me. You have already taught me so much… I love you baby boy. You make me want to be the best version of myself, and I am so grateful for that realization.
