My baby is 6 months old!I am sitting here staring at Lennox as he chews on the strap from his carrier. Yes, the one that wraps around his little body to keep him safe! Must taste delicious? It amazes me that this is his toy of choice these days! It doesn’t matter how much money we spend on things that are colorful and make a lot of noise, he’d rather suck on a strap. Whatever he wants!
This little boy smiles at me all day long just like his in these pictures! What did I do to deserve such a blessing? How was I chosen to be this little boy’s mommy? I thank God every day for this little chubby face that smiles back at me.
What an amazing bond Lennox and I have created. We seriously smile and laugh all day. Sure, he throws tantrums and he cries and he gets mad, but we work through it and we really have figured each other out. I stare at his newborn photos and I’m astounded at how far we have come since March 1, 2016. 10:16 AM Lennox was brought into the world and changed our lives for the better, forever. I love him so much it hurts. That’s such an oxymoron. This little being that brings me the most happiness I’ve ever felt in the world, also brings me so much fear. I’m trying so hard not to be fearful, but I love him so much and just want the best for him and his safety and his health. Lennox rolled over for the first time yesterday so we took him out of his Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit. He did amazing- I did NOT! Omg, I woke up and checked the monitor and he was on his tummy, so I raced into his room and flipped on his back in one quick motion. Checked his breathing and ducked out of his room. He then proceeded to try and roll onto his belly for the next 45 minutes while screaming out of frustration, and because mommy woke him up? I was nervous… My son was on his belly and it really worried me. 45 minutes later after rolling all over his crib, he found a position on his BELLY that he fell asleep in. He was comfy and cozy and I was a MESS! I told Kacy I had to check on him and so I did… I literally crawled up to the crib, saw his back expanding in and out with each breath and made sure his face was fully to the side. I then ran outta there. I tried to fall back asleep but it was difficult. This is where my faith is tested… God, please keep my little boy safe and healthy and happy… I finally dozed off and woke up at 10:30am!! Thank you hubby for letting me sleep in. And Thank you Lennox for being such a happy, loving, healthy and strong bundle of pure joy❤️❤️❤️ We are so blessed??

Don’t fear about him sleeping on his belly. When you were a baby they were saying to only put babies on their belly, not their back. They flip flop on this many times, so who knows really whats right.
My daughter was about 2 weeks old when I let her sleep on her belly all the time. She slept better and loved it too. I would check on her too, but not constantly and she has never had a problem. (She’s currently 4 1/2 months)
If he wants to be on his belly that might be what’s best for him and who knows, he may sleep better/longer too!
Keep strong mama, you’re doing great ?
