I look at this little face, the chubby cheeks, the little pearly white teeth sticking out of those delicious gums, the huge blue eyes and the blonde hair that now actually had some sort of style 😉 and I melt. Simply said, I melt- every single time I look at my little boy. I know I’ve said over and over how I can’t believe I’m a mother, that I’ve been blessed with such a sweet child, and that it’s greater than I ever imagined. But it’s honestly true. There were moments when I wasn’t sure I was going to experience motherhood and the fact that I am, is the biggest blessing and gift I’ve ever received. My gratitude is through the roof.
Has it really been eight months? I hate it, every single person that said time flies was right. But I think it’s helping me take in more moments. Big or small it doesn’t matter. Breathe, take it all in and enjoy the journey. My new mantra! It definitley aint perfected, but I’m getting closer!
