A few months ago people.com did a feature on Lennox’s nursery and how we turned it into a nautical oasis. This was a first DIY project for my hubby and I and some things went smoothly, others did not!!! Ha! But, all in all we had a great time creating a room for Lennox that is special and full of meaning…
I was looking through these photos and reminiscing about what a fun and crazy day the photo shoot was! I really enjoyed capturing these moments and am excited to share these pictures with you!
I’ve also linked some of my favorite pieces from Lennox’s room to share with you and the fun DIY touches we added! From his wonderful dresser and hutch to the adorable canvas changing table boat that holds diapers and all things baby, to Lennox’s custom made sign from Etsy that was a gift from my cousin, to the stuffed animal whales tribe that I started collecting while I was pregnant and the amazing glider that we spend so much time cuddling and sometimes napping on. We loved adding some extra fun nautical flair⚓️ as with the anchor and compass drawer pulls and rope picture frames. We are big fans of Lennox’s crib because he loves it and sleeps 11-12 hours a night! We chose a cute anchor bed skirt and anchor curtains and then Kacy put a limit on anchors- I can tend to get carried away. And my faves, Lennox’s boat rug which is machine washable and so comfy for him to roll around on and Curious George… He’s wearing the outfit we took Lennox home from the hospital in. What an amazing memory.
