I’m OFF DUTY! My mom is visiting aka grandma Tuni to Lennox. While she watches the baby and helps around the house, I am going to indulge in a glass of Vino. Stanley wants to join me! It’s not often that I get an evening off, so I’m thrilled that I can sit back, sip on something cold and relax. Do any of you parents feel this way? You just need a moment to yourselves sometimes? I spend all day with Lennox, and it’s the most rewarding time ever, but it’s nice to just have a moment. A moment to myself. Or with Stanley! My new role as mommy is the most amazing role I’ve ever had. Even on days like today, where Lennox has been pretty fussy and frustrated- he didn’t want to nap and when he finally did go to sleep he kept waking up. But none of that matters. Being his mom he is the greatest thing I’ve ever done! Helping him through teething or constipation or when he is so tired that he just can’t sleep, is more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. So grateful. This ain’t easy, but it’s honestly the best!
