Chambray with a little something sweet.🌷🌷🌷 I’m all about button down shirts right now, sometimes the baggier the better, depends on the day! Am I right, ladies?! Some days I like to tuck in my shirts and others I want to wear them out (cover up the bloat?!) and over skinny jeans or maybe some cute leggings. I find chambray to be one of the most versatile fabrics and it’s definitely one of my go-to favorites. Because of its lighter touch it’s perfect for spring and summer―but its strength also makes it a nice go-to piece for colder seasons. Yay for chambray! Ya, that excitement might be a “tad” overboard…😆

When I saw this shirt with such beautiful embroidered flowers I was instantly drawn to it. It made me smile and I knew it would soon be one of my wardrobe staples. Sometimes when I find a shirt or outfit I tend to wear it over and over again! Like in the same week! Like if I saw someone two days in a row I’d be slightly embarrassed and feel the need to explain!🙄😂 Anywayyyyy- back to why I love this shirt… There’s a sense of femininity about it that I love. There’s also something about embroidery that just takes me back to thoughts of my grandma and warms my heart. I’m not saying that embroidery = grandma! She just used to do embroidery so it holds a special place in my heart. ☺️ Pairing the two together, a hip chambray shirt with embroidery is a win-win for this girl! Pair it with a wide rim fedora, (green happens to be my fave) some distressed olive green jeggings, my favorite casual boots at the moment AND Sophie and I’m a pretty happy girl! Sophie is not for sale. 🐶😉
