Sequins and summer nights🌙

Sequins and summer nights, ladies. That’s what I’m talking about!! For our last night of vacation, I wanted to wear something other than my bathing suit and cutoff shorts. I mean, I love beach days- no makeup, bathing suits and coverups, but it’s nice to put a little more effort into a night out and get “semi” dressed up, so an embellished cold shoulder top it is! The hubby and I decided for our last night in Mexico that we’d leave the babe with grandma and grandpa and let them babysit! So, date night for us! It’s fun for me to wear clothes other than yoga pants and t-shirts, or in this case, beach attire! Again, there’s nothing better than a beach vacay, but it’s also fun to spruce it up for a night out on the town in a foreign country. Just a “bit,” as thats all I had time to do, i.e. wedges and jeans! Ha! I am writing this blog from the balcony of the resort and staring out at the turquoise waters… Needless to say, it’s been a lovely vacation. Don’t vacations fly by too quickly?! I feel like we just unpacked, and soon we are heading home. Oh well, I guess that just means we need to plan our next getaway! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial weekend- last weekend and if you are planning summer trips, make time for a nice dinner out, “if” you can! In my opinion, it’s a wonderful way to top off a fabulous trip!
