I wanna rock n’ roll all night and party every day… Ummm, right. Wishful thinking! But I love this sweatshirt because it makes me feel hip, which I’m realizing doesn’t make me hip at all! 🤣 I’m channeling my 25 year old self which keeps me young and fun, so there! And my Vans… Can’t forget those!! My idea of a party these days would be a nice glass of wine, light kettle corn, a full season of the Handmaid’s Tale and a cozy fire with the hubby. It’s like my 25 year old self says let’s party but the current me says let’s get in flannel pjs… and the flannel pjs win. Lordy, how times have changed. I laugh with my friends about this because we’re all in a place where being with the babies and nights at home are so much more enjoyable than a loud club and getting trashed on shitty vodka. Actually, my drink of choice years ago was gin and tonic. 😳 Mama loved those! Anyway, my point is- I think I have a point, is that growing up ain’t that bad! Is it easy? No. But so many amazing experiences are happening, and now that we have a child it’s fascinating to experience life through Lennox’s eyes. Everything is so exciting for him and he’s curious about EVERYTHING… It’s a wonderful reminder to be in the moment. Am I starting to freak out that grays are popping up all over my head? Yes! Do I love the fine lines that aren’t so fine anymore? No! But I love my baby and I love my hubby and I LOVE our life right now. I’m excited for what the future holds and the many life changing journeys we will have… Maybe another baby, new roles I’ll bring to life in TV and film, traveling the world, watching Lennox become the boy/man he will turn into… 😩😀 I know there’s a girls trip to be had in the near future- I might even dance on a table! 👍🏻 Cheers to growing up while staying young at heart, cozy nights with vino and following our dreams!
