When I saw this dress I wasn’t sure it was “me.” First of all, it’s white, it’s delicate and my son was 10 months old when I got it… π€·πΌββοΈ But then I put it on and fell in love instantly. So far, I’ve worn it to a baby shower, my dad’s 70th birthday party and a brunch a couple weekends ago. Now, Easter!! I even put it in the washing machine and hung it to dry after spilling a glass of wine on it.π·Oops. Needless to say, having a one-year-old has not stopped me from wearing white or wearing something delicate like a crocheted dress. Have I altered my wardrobe since having a baby? Yes. But I’m learning you don’t have to alter everything. I’m still going to wear white and white dresses, I’m still going to wear delicate fabrics and dangling earrings and I’m still going to dress as cute as I can! Some days that’s impossible but some days it’s important to just go for it. It’s amazing how much I’ve changed since having Lennox. He spits up and if I don’t have a burp cloth nearby I wipe it up with my sleeve. Brushing my hair has become a luxury and putting on heels means there is some kind of big event happening. Would I change any of this? Never. I’ll take spit up and boogers any day of the week. Who’s with me?
Happy Easter!
