🐙🐋🐠🐟Lennox’s underwater birthday extravaganza 🐡🐳🦀🐬

What an amazing 2nd birthday party! Having an underwater themed bday couldn’t have been more perfect for Lennox. This sweet boy loves fishies, sharks, octopi… Dory, Nemo, Crush you name it! We had some mermaid love for the girls too 💗

This wouldn’t be an authentic post if I failed to mention that March 4th started out so unbearably painful, and ended with the light that is Lennox shining brighter than bright💫💫💫 We lost our first baby, our furry baby Stanley that morning, and headed straight home to celebrate Len and make memories that would be so bitter sweet. As conflicted as I was to go along with the birthday party that we’d been planning for months, I knew it would be the best thing for us and for Len. We needed to be with loved ones and the timing was quite rare. I look at these beautiful photos and am filled with immense joy and then seconds later I think about earlier that morning and can’t help but be heartbroken. Losing an animal hurts and it fucking sucks… Had to say it and get it off my chest. I hope you understand. Anyway… I am so grateful for loving friends and family who helped comfort us while celebrating the light of our lives and mourning the loss of our sweet Stanley. It was wonderful to look around and see so many people who love Lennox and were excited to celebrate his BIRTHday.

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, and I’m sorry. I’m starting to feel a tiny bit better and will focus on writing again. I must say a huge thank you to all of you who also supported us through this loss. I love this community we have created here, and I’m incredibly appreciative of you.
